Award Winning After School Enrichment Classes

Workshop is back! We are super excited to return to campuses for the 2021-22 school year. We've missed our student entrepreneurs. Our award-winning Study Skills and Innovation Workshop classes continue as the program's pillars. Emerging from the pandemic, Workshop Education will focus now more than ever on executive functioning skills, life skills, hands-on learning activities, and enjoying the great outdoors!

Workshop has served thousands of students in the Bay Area since 2009. Workshop Education helps children discover their unique strengths, and enjoy social connections, through learning. Our after school enrichment classes focus on 'education for life.'

These include the study skills and innovation development that lead to happiness and success. We help reduce families' scheduling stress with our unique online flexible scheduling.

We provide our Study Skills and Innovation Workshop classes on all of the days school is in session, running from dismissal until 6 p.m. The Workshop format is comprised of a fun mini-lesson, homework or project time, and reflective presentations. We help the child bring problem solving to the table, provide a level of of autonomy to create, and encourage presentation time to learn as a community (plus, become a great public speaker!).

Our classes start at school dismissal when students come to sign-in. Parents can pick up whenever they like. However, we prefer students stay for one hour minimum. Study Skills class ends at 4:30 and Innovation class ends between 5:30 and 6:00. Parents can request to add or drop a class by 7 a.m. the day of Workshop.

Workshop Education is a new enrichment model offering classes with flexible scheduling. In keeping with the CA Department of Social Services guidance for after school programs, "Of an instructional nature," Workshop Education is not a licensed after school daycare provider. It is an after school educational program offering enrichment curriculum. In our role providing enrichment classes, we do not provide snacks, administer medicine, provide transportation, or pick-up or drop-off students that attend our program. Children are free to come and go to other enrichment classes, sports or to child care on campus. When you register, your child is not obligated to attend any of the Workshop Education Study Skills or Innovation enrichment classes unless you request to attend a class.
